About this role
The Purdue For Life Foundation is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of high-level events that advance the university's engagement and fundraising missions. You'll work within a centralized events team on both on-campus and off-campus gatherings, handling everything from vendor coordination and logistics to onsite management and post-event administration. This role requires flexibility with evenings, weekends, and travel as needed, along with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, respond to real-time issues, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Comfort handling confidential information and a genuine understanding of Purdue's mission are important, as is your willingness to learn new procedures and stay solution-focused when problems arise.
The Foundation offers a hybrid work arrangement with solid benefits for full-time employees, including 10 paid holidays, up to 22 vacation days annually, a 10% employer retirement contribution with immediate vesting, employer-funded preventative dental and vision coverage, and tuition discounts at Purdue University for you and eligible family members.
