Accessibility

What we are aiming for, where we currently fall short, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

Effective: 27 August 2026

Our commitment

JobMinglr is a hiring platform. If any part of it is unusable for you, the consequence is not an inconvenience: it is a job you could not apply for. We treat accessibility defects on that basis.

We are working to make jobminglr.com conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab). That standard is also the technical benchmark used for the Americans with Disabilities Act and for Section 508.

Conformance status

JobMinglr is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the standard is met and some parts are not yet.

We are deliberately not claiming full conformance, and we hold no certification. Nobody can honestly certify a site of this size against every success criterion, and automated testing in particular cannot: the tools we run catch a minority of accessibility problems, and a clean automated report is not evidence that a page works for a real person using assistive technology. Where we say something has been tested, we mean a person tested it.

What we have tested

Most recently reviewed on 27 August 2026, across:

  • The public site: home, job search, job listings, pricing, and policy pages
  • Sign-up, sign-in, email verification and password reset
  • The job seeker experience: onboarding, profile and résumé, job matching, messages, application questions, and subscription management
  • The employer experience: company setup, posting and editing jobs, reviewing applicants, candidate profiles, and integrations

Testing covered keyboard-only operation, browser zoom to 200% and 400%, a 320 pixel-wide viewport, reduced-motion and high-contrast settings, and inspection with automated tooling. Screen reader testing is covered in the next section.

Known issues

These are the barriers we currently know about. If you hit something that is not on this list, we would genuinely like to hear about it.

  • Some dropdown selectors on the job posting form (job title, skills, location) do not yet follow the standard keyboard pattern for a combo box. They can be opened and used, but arrow-key behaviour is not what a screen reader announces it will be.
  • Payment and identity verification are handled by Stripe on pages Stripe hosts. We do not control that markup. If you are blocked at checkout, contact us and we will complete the transaction with you directly.
  • Advertising on some pages is served by Google AdSense. Ad creatives are supplied by third parties and we cannot correct them. Every ad slot is labelled so it can be skipped.
  • Documents generated by our résumé and cover letter tools are PDFs without an internal tag structure, so a screen reader will read them as plain text without headings. We can send you the same content as accessible text on request.
  • Screen reader coverage is not yet complete. Our testing to date has been with keyboard, zoom and automated tooling; verification with NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver across the full product is in progress rather than finished.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on JobMinglr blocks you, please contact us. You do not need to diagnose it or use any particular words: describing what you were trying to do is enough.

What helps us reproduce it quickly, if you have it to hand:

  • The page address, or a description of where you were
  • What you were trying to do, and what happened instead
  • Your browser and, if you use one, your assistive technology, for example “NVDA with Firefox” or “VoiceOver on iPhone”
  • Any settings that might matter: zoom level, high contrast, reduced motion

We aim to acknowledge every report within two business days and to give you a specific plan or a fix within ten. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing in the meantime, and if you are blocked from applying for a job or from a purchase, we will complete it with you by hand rather than making you wait.

Contact us

Any of these reaches the same team. Email gets you a written record of the exchange, which is usually the most useful for both sides.

How this statement is maintained

This statement was last reviewed on 27 August 2026. We review it whenever we complete a round of accessibility work, and at least twice a year regardless. The known-issues list above is updated as items are fixed rather than at review time, so it should always reflect what is outstanding today.

Our broader commitments to disability inclusion, including accessibility at events we host, are set out on our Disability Inclusion page.
