Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies — and how to control them.

Last updated: August 18, 2026. This Cookie Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices page.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — including web beacons, pixels, local storage, and mobile SDKs (such as those in our mobile apps) — perform comparable functions. In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies.”

Cookies let the Platform work, remember your choices, understand how the Platform is used, and — where you allow it — measure and deliver advertising.

Categories of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into four categories. These map directly to the choices in our cookie banner.

  • Strictly necessary — required for authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and core Platform functionality. These are always active and cannot be disabled, because the Platform will not work without them.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors navigate the Platform, which features are used, and where problems occur, so we can improve. We anonymize IP addresses where required.
  • Marketing— used to measure advertising campaign performance and to deliver relevant advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising. Setting these may constitute a “share” of personal information under the CPRA.
  • Functional — remember your preferences and settings (such as language and display choices) to improve your experience.

Cookies and Providers

The specific cookies set depend on how you use the Platform and the choices you make. The main providers and purposes are:

Provider / CookieCategoryPurpose
JobMinglr session & authStrictly necessaryKeep you signed in, secure your session, and prevent fraud.
Cookie consent (jm_cookie_consent_v1)Strictly necessaryRemember your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every visit. Stored in your browser's local storage.
Google Analytics (e.g. _ga, _ga_*)AnalyticsMeasure traffic, sessions, and feature usage on our website.
Firebase Analytics (mobile apps)AnalyticsMeasure app usage, engagement, and crash diagnostics.
Google Ads & Google AdMobMarketingMeasure ad performance and deliver relevant advertising to free-tier users. Premium subscribers get an ad-free experience.
StripeStrictly necessaryProcess payments and detect payment fraud during checkout.

We may add or change providers from time to time. Cookie names set by third parties are controlled by those third parties and may change without notice.

How We Ask for Your Consent

We use Google Consent Mode. By default, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied until you make a choice. Where consent is required by law — including for users in the EEA and UK under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules, and for Canadian users under PIPEDA — we do not set non-essential cookies until you accept them through our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the Platform cannot function without them.

Managing Your Cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Our cookie banner — accept all, reject non-essential, or choose category by category. Your choice is remembered and applied on future visits.
  • Your Privacy Choices — opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and submit other privacy requests.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC)— we honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale/sharing of personal information under the CPRA and similar laws. If your browser or a browser extension sends GPC, we automatically keep marketing cookies off — you don't need to do anything else.
  • Your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Platform.
  • Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
  • Interest-based advertising — visit the NAI opt-out page or the DAA opt-out page.
  • Mobile— on iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Some marketing cookies may involve “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. To opt out, reject marketing cookies in our banner, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use the request form on our Your Privacy Choices page. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Please review this page periodically.
