About this role

At SpaceX's Starbase facility, this Production Coordinator role sits at the operational heart of fleet maintenance, managing the flow of parts and materials that keep vehicles ready for rapid turnaround and reuse. You'll track inventory through multiple work centers, physically move components between receiving, stock rooms, and maintenance sites, and work across planning, procurement, engineering, and maintenance teams to keep the MRP/ERP system accurate and reliable. The position demands close attention to detail—ensuring parts meet SpaceX specifications, coordinating off-site repairs and inspections, and flagging data errors that could delay missions or compromise fleet readiness.

Beyond logistics, you'll drive operational metrics around turnaround times and asset availability, organize reports for internal stakeholders and external customers like NASA, manage certifications and compliance records, and support maintenance supervisors in scheduling technicians and outside vendors. This is a hands-on role that blends physical warehouse work with administrative coordination and cross-functional communication.

You'll need a high school diploma and at least one year of administrative experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is important; experience in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus. Background with MRP/ERP systems, SQL, Tableau, or APICS certification would set you apart. The role is full-time and in-office at Starbase, and you must meet ITAR requirements—meaning U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or eligible refugee/asylee status.
