About this role
Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Facility Customer Service Coordinator in Elkhart to handle the day-to-day interaction between customers, sales staff, and the store operation. You'll answer product questions by phone and email, process and verify orders, and serve as the main point of contact for customers navigating their paint and coating needs. The role blends customer-facing communication with hands-on warehouse work—you'll operate tinting equipment, move and load product, and retrieve items from shelves, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifts to 100 pounds.
This position suits someone with at least one year of customer service, retail, or sales experience who is comfortable switching between phone support and physical tasks. Preferred candidates have three or more years in customer service roles, experience with material handling equipment, or prior exposure to paint products and tinting systems. You'll need to be detail-oriented to process orders accurately, product-knowledgeable to make solid recommendations, and physically capable of the warehouse demands. The in-office, full-time arrangement in Elkhart means you'll be on-site throughout your shift.
