About us

With us, you’ll never be just a number; you’ll be part of a close-knit team that genuinely cares about the people we support, and each other.  Since 2008, Partners in Support has provided supported living services across Hertfordshire. We’re proud to be a local, values-led organisation that puts people before growth. We believe in dignity, respect, compassion, and partnership, supporting people to live the lives they choose in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

No two days are the same, so if you enjoy variety and want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.

You will need to be able to use your own computer and tablet/phone to a comfortable level to use the online systems and apps which provide your rota, service details, and payslips. If you are not an avid technology user, don’t worry; all training will be given.

We’re committed to supporting our colleagues through regular check-ins, supervision, training, and ongoing communication, so you’ll feel supported both personally and professionally.

No previous social care experience is required, as full training will be provided.

About this role

Partners in Support is looking for a Support Worker to join their St Albans team on a part-time basis, providing day-to-day emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role involves helping people build confidence, develop independence, learn new skills, and participate in their communities—work that varies day to day depending on individual needs and goals. You'll work both independently and as part of a close-knit team, with flexibility to take on additional sleep-in duties and overtime if you want to increase your earnings.

The organisation values person-centred support and has been rated Outstanding by the CQC. No prior social care experience is required; full training will be provided.
