About this role
Fastly's Sales Support Analyst role sits at the entry point of their Global Sales Operations team, focused on providing first-line support to the AMERICAS sales organization from the Pune office. You'd handle routine sales inquiries within defined service levels, manage basic data tasks in Salesforce and spreadsheets, and escalate more complex issues to specialized teams handling field, channel, and solutions engineering operations. The work involves process documentation, account and lead validation, new hire onboarding on sales tools, and using AI-powered automation to streamline workflows—essentially building the operational foundation that keeps a distributed sales team running smoothly.
This role suits someone with one to two years in a support, sales, or sales operations environment, particularly from a SaaS or high-tech company. You'll need solid communication skills, comfort with Excel or Google Sheets for basic analysis, and ideally hands-on experience with Salesforce. Experience building agentic prompts to automate tasks is actively sought. Prior Tier 1 support experience or familiarity with dashboard tools like Looker or Tableau would set you apart.
The position requires working 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST to cover AMERICAS business hours, with occasional flexibility to extend into American time zones as needed. There's no travel requirement unless your manager specifies otherwise. This is a full-time, in-office role reporting to the Director of Global Sales Strategy & Operations in India, with a dotted line to the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead in Denver.
