About this role

Supporting fathers and non-custodial parents toward stability requires someone who can build trust, connect dots between services, and follow through consistently. The TCSEPP Fatherhood Program Coordinator role at the University of Tennessee's Social Work Office of Research and Public Service involves one-on-one mentoring with program participants around parenting, employment readiness, and relationships—identifying barriers, creating action plans, and linking people to community resources. You'd also manage relationships with child support agencies and community partners, maintain participant records, and handle basic administrative tasks.

This position suits someone with at least two years of case management or client services experience and a bachelor's degree (or four years of experience in lieu of a degree). You'll need strong interpersonal skills, the ability to advocate and work independently, proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems, and a valid driver's license with your own vehicle—the role is hybrid but requires regular travel throughout Middle Tennessee. Prior experience with fatherhood programs, employment initiatives, or social service organizations is preferred, as is familiarity with child support systems.

The $50,000 salary comes with UT's full benefits package, including health insurance, retirement matching, generous time off, and tuition waivers. You must live in Middle Tennessee and be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
