About this role

Accompany Health seeks a senior clinical leader to build and scale the operational systems that deliver integrated primary, behavioral, and social care to complex patients across multiple markets. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and working in close partnership with the Head of Market Operations, you'll hold joint accountability for translating the organization's care model into repeatable workflows, managing clinical performance across value-based metrics (patient engagement, quality measures, total cost of care), and leading the clinical provider service line—including Clinical Directors and APC Managers—across markets. This is a role that bridges clinical excellence with operational rigor: you'll establish standard operating procedures and playbooks that allow care pods to function consistently at scale, while also spending roughly 10% of your time in direct clinical care and on-call coverage.

The position demands someone equally comfortable with people leadership and strategic innovation. You'll mentor and coach frontline clinical teams, partner with product and engineering teams on technology and AI enablement, and lead new market implementations and payor launches. Your ability to communicate clearly across multidisciplinary teams, drive organizational change, and balance compassionate care with operational discipline will be essential. The role requires variable monthly travel to existing and new markets, with potential increases during launches.

This opportunity suits an experienced clinical leader—likely a physician, NP, or PA with significant operational and people management experience—who is genuinely motivated by serving underserved populations and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where clinical innovation and operational performance are equally valued. The salary range is $160,000–$250,000, and the position is fully remote.
