About this role

Pioneer Management Consulting is seeking a Director of Technology Enablement to lead the firm's technology-enabled transformation work across clients. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—you'll own the delivery of large-scale technology engagements, from ERP implementations and application modernization to enterprise portfolio management and vendor strategy. You'll work directly with client executives to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps, establish governance and investment criteria, and drive outcomes across complex, multi-year programs.

The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise technology leadership experience—typically as a former CIO, CTO, applications executive, or similar role with P&L and portfolio accountability. You'll need a track record designing technology operating models, advising on major system and vendor decisions, and leading organizational change at scale. Public sector, education, or government experience is preferred given the complexity and regulatory demands of those environments. Beyond technical acumen, this role demands strong executive presence, financial stewardship, and the ability to build trust quickly with C-suite stakeholders.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Denver with a base salary of $166,000–$205,000. Pioneer offers standard professional benefits including health coverage, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, and meaningful time off. The role offers the chance to shape both client outcomes and Pioneer's growth as a consulting firm scaling its technology practice.
