About this role
Oral Surgery Partners' Bloomington location is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to serve as the bridge between patients and clinical care. You'll spend your day consulting with patients about their surgical treatment plans, explaining procedures and financial obligations, and ensuring they have the information and support needed to move forward confidently. This role demands strong communication skills and genuine empathy—you'll field patient questions, address concerns, and follow up with those who haven't yet scheduled to help remove barriers to treatment completion.
Beyond patient interaction, the position involves substantial coordination and administrative work. You'll schedule surgeries and follow-up appointments, verify that pre-treatment requirements are met, manage insurance benefits and payment arrangements, and maintain detailed records in the EHR system. Success requires comfort with healthcare software, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prior experience in healthcare—ideally in treatment coordination or patient care—is strongly preferred. Oral Surgery Partners offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer contributions after six months, paid time off, and paid holidays.
