Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 2 years of professional childcare experience
- Ability to provide at least two professional childcare-related references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater. (Ex 1: If you have babysat or nannied for 4 families for a period of 6 months each, we will need a reference from each family. Ex 2: If you have worked for a care center for 3 years and babysat for multiple families as well, we will need to speak with your supervisor from the care center and at least 1 family for whom you have provided paid, in-home care.)

About this role
Helpr connects experienced childcare providers with families needing backup or occasional care through an on-demand app model. As a sitter, you'd receive booking emails and choose which gigs fit your schedule—there's no pressure to accept work that doesn't align with your availability. The role is based in Cleveland and structured as contract work paying $25–30 per hour, with cancellation protection built in.
