About this role
MTC Care is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to bridge clinical and administrative work across behavioral health services in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. You'll split your time between onsite patient facilitation—assisting clinicians during visits, managing telehealth logistics, pulling medical records, and coordinating with facility staff—and remote administrative work, primarily completing Behavioral Health Integration cases and preparing charts. The role demands comfort with both direct patient interaction and detailed data entry, along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.
The position requires at least a high school diploma and ideally some healthcare background, though it's not mandatory; medical assistant or CNA certification is a bonus. You'll need to maintain strict HIPAA compliance, manage sensitive patient information confidently, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Practically speaking, you'll need a reliable car and willingness to travel up to an hour from your base, a dedicated home office space meeting HIPAA standards with solid internet, and the physical capacity to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and handle occasional exposure to bodily fluids or cleaning chemicals in a healthcare setting.
