About this role
Ascension's Clinical Programs Coordinator role combines clinical leadership with program development in an in-office setting at their Indianapolis location. You would develop and oversee nursing clinical programs while serving as a resource to nursing staff on patient care standards, policies, and procedures. The position involves designing care plans and therapy programs, ensuring their implementation, coordinating documentation, and securing necessary resources and equipment. Depending on the program scope, you may supervise nursing staff as well.
This role requires a registered nurse license from the Indiana Board of Nursing and a BSN, along with BLS certification within your first month. You'll need three to five years of nursing experience and demonstrated project management skills. The position particularly values candidates with educator experience who thrive in teaching environments, suggesting a significant portion of the work involves developing staff competency and supporting clinical best practices across programs.
