Role: Production Support Engineer
Team: RPE
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office from day 1)
What you’ll bring
- 4 to 6 years of enterprise experience in large distributed environments
- Deep Linux administration skills, ideally Red Hat
- Strong TCP/IP, networking and security troubleshooting
- Experience with monitoring tools, SLAs, metrics and alerts
- Solid grounding in Change and Problem Management
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to teach others
Nice to have
- Python or Perl and shell scripting
- Experience automating workflows

About this role
Mthree is hiring a Production Support Engineer to support a major multinational investment bank's infrastructure operations. You'd be joining the RPE team in a hybrid role based in Mumbai, working on-site three days per week from day one. The position sits at the intersection of systems administration and infrastructure reliability, requiring you to troubleshoot and maintain large distributed enterprise environments.
The role demands 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with enterprise systems, particularly deep Linux administration skills (Red Hat preferred) and strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and security troubleshooting. You'll work with monitoring tools, manage SLAs and alerts, and handle change and problem management processes.
