About this role

Astro Pak, a precision cleaning contractor serving aerospace, semiconductor, biotech, and other specialized industries, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day administrative and operational backbone of its Kansas City facility. You'd handle mail and deliveries, greet visitors, answer phones, manage inventory of uniforms and safety supplies, coordinate travel and scheduling, process timesheets, and maintain internal databases. The role requires someone organized and detail-oriented who can juggle multiple priorities and communicate clearly across departments.

This is a contract position working Monday through Friday on-site, with occasional overtime (10–20%) that may include weekends or holidays. You'll need at least two years of administrative or operations experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a professional approach to customer service. An associate degree is preferred, though a high school diploma meets the minimum requirement. The company offers employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options, and paid time off.

The role suits someone who thrives in a support capacity and takes satisfaction in keeping operations organized and efficient. You'd be working for an established company founded in 1959 with a national footprint, so there's stability and the chance to learn about a specialized industry.
