About this role

Everstand, a nonprofit serving over 1,000 youth annually across multiple states, is looking for a Quality Improvement Coordinator to anchor compliance and continuous improvement work across its Maryland, Pennsylvania, and DC programs. Based in Baltimore, you'd own a broad portfolio: monitoring regulatory and accreditation compliance, auditing client records and documentation, analyzing program data and survey feedback, investigating formal concerns and grievances, and supporting the organization's electronic health record system as a super user and trainer. This role bridges operations and program quality, requiring you to translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and frontline staff.

The position calls for someone analytical and detail-oriented who can juggle multiple compliance streams—state licensing, national accreditation, funding requirements—while staying organized across a multi-location organization. You'll need strong Excel skills, the ability to manage audits and corrective action plans, and comfort working with data platforms like SurveyMonkey and EHR systems. A bachelor's degree plus one year of relevant experience in documentation, compliance, or data analysis is the baseline; a background in human services, behavioral health, or residential care is preferred.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Baltimore. The salary range is $27,270 to $32,160 annually, depending on your background. You'll need to pass background checks, maintain CPR/First Aid certification, hold a valid driver's license, and meet ongoing screening requirements.
