About this role

Lincoln International's European payroll and benefits operation across Italy, Spain, Benelux and Sweden needs someone to own the day-to-day execution and coordination of these functions. You would manage monthly payroll processing and submission, liaise with outsourced providers and internal finance teams on payroll queries, and ensure employee lifecycle events—joiners, leavers, contract changes—flow accurately through the HRIS and payroll systems. The role also covers pension and group insurance administration, statutory tax and benefits reporting across multiple jurisdictions, and coordination of employee benefits programmes including ClassPass and meal vouchers.

Beyond operational payroll work, you would contribute to broader European initiatives around payroll system integration, HRIS reporting, process optimization and forecasting. You would supervise in-house payroll and HR administration staff, act as a data steward for HRIS integrity, and work across HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal and US colleagues to keep processes aligned and compliant. The position demands strong attention to detail, systems knowledge, cultural awareness of different European employment practices, and the ability to handle confidential employee data with professionalism in a fast-paced investment banking environment.

This role suits someone with solid payroll and HR administration experience who thrives on detailed operational oversight, cross-functional coordination and multi-country complexity. You need comfort with HRIS platforms, statutory compliance across jurisdictions, and the service orientation to manage both internal stakeholders and external vendor relationships. The Frankfurt location is in-office and full-time.
