About this role
Wolverine Trading is looking for someone to be the frontline support for its trading systems, handling everything from user account management to troubleshooting production issues for both internal teams and external customers. You'd spend your day responding to support requests across phone, email, and instant messaging, working directly with developers and external vendors like exchanges and ECNs to resolve problems quickly. The role also involves maintaining documentation, assisting with clearing issues, and taking on special projects as the business needs them.
This position suits someone with 2–3 years in financial services who understands trading concepts and ideally has hands-on experience with platforms like Reuters, TT, Bloomberg, or similar systems. You'll need strong multitasking and communication skills, a self-directed approach, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Windows proficiency and knowledge of financial clearing processes are valuable but not required.
Wolverine offers competitive base salary ($80,000–$100,000 depending on experience) plus annual bonus, comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, on-site meals and gym, and a structured mentorship program during your first six months. The company emphasizes a flat structure and team culture, with regular social events and professional development opportunities. This is a full-time, in-office role in Chicago.
