Description

About Juno

Juno leverages collective bargaining power to secure better student loan rates for students. With 290,000+ members and over $2B in negotiated loan volume, we've proven that group buying works. We are the most popular way to pay for the world's top graduate programs, and we're looking for someone to scale the partnerships that enable us to reach our members at the moments that decide whether they borrow with us.

The Problem:

Federal lending reforms have created a significant market shift. In July 2026, new caps on federal graduate loans, including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students, came into effect leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent, competitive private options, exactly what Juno provides.

Your mission:

We're seeking a Partnerships Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our graduate team. Our vertical leads drive volume through partnerships — with schools, student organizations, prep companies, and creators — and every one of those partnerships comes with setup, deliverables, events, and follow-through. You'll own that layer, so the leads can spend their time on the deals that move volume.

What you'll do:

  • Own partnership setup: Get new partnerships live — onboarding, tracking links, assets, and deliverable schedules — so nothing stalls between signed and launched
  • Activate and manage existing partnerships: Keep a calendar of every deliverable we owe and are owed, chase what's late, and flag what's underperforming
  • Coordinate events end to end: Webinars, campus events, and conference presence — logistics, scheduling, materials, and follow-up
  • Partner with marketing and design: Work with our central marketing and design team to scope, prioritize, and deliver what each partnership needs
  • Keep the system of record clean: Partner contacts, terms, deliverables, and performance tracked well enough that anyone on the team could pick it up
  • Flex into conversion during peak: When application season lands, shift into conversion campaigns — outreach, follow-ups, and member support across the funnel
  • Use AI as a multiplier: Draft partner comms, build trackers, and check partner deliverables with AI tools, and catch it when the AI’s output is wrong

What We Offer

Compensation: $60k–$80k including performance upside tied to growth milestones.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement matching.

What We're Looking For

  • Background: Typically 0–2+ years in an operations, coordination, project management, or client-facing role; recent grads with a strong internship track record are welcome
  • Organized to a fault: You juggle many threads at once and drop none of them. You keep the tracker current because it's how you think, not because someone asked
  • Strong written communication: Most of this job is clear, prompt, professional messages to partners and teammates
  • Follow-through you can set a watch by: You close loops without being reminded
  • Comfort with tools: Spreadsheets, CRMs, and project trackers — and you already use AI in your daily work
  • Comfort with seasonality: our year has a peak. You plan for it months ahead and go all-in when it lands.
  • Tenacity: we work as hard as it takes to achieve our targets.

The X-Factor

  • You're reliable: When you say it's handled, it's handled
  • No task is beneath you: No task too small: You take pride in the details
  • You're proactive: You flag the problem before anyone asks
  • You think in systems: you'd rather build the process once than do the thing by hand ten times

Why Join Juno?

The Opportunity

Real Impact: Help hundreds of thousands of students get access to the lowest rates on the market.
Market Timing: Federal aid changes create massive tailwind for growth.
Proven Model: $2B+ negotiated, 290K+ members - product-market fit achieved.

About this role

Juno Medical is capitalizing on a major shift in graduate lending—federal loan caps taking effect in July 2026 have created urgent demand for private alternatives, and they're scaling partnerships to reach students at the moment they need to borrow. As Partnerships Coordinator, you'd be the operational engine behind their graduate team, owning everything between a signed deal and a live partnership. That means onboarding new partners, maintaining a clean calendar of deliverables owed and received, coordinating events from webinars to campus activations, and flagging underperformance before it becomes a problem. You'd also partner with marketing and design to scope what each partnership needs, keep the system of record current enough that anyone could step in, and flex into conversion campaigns during peak application season.

This role suits someone early in their career—0–2 years in operations, project management, or client-facing work—who is genuinely organized and thrives on follow-through. You need strong written communication, comfort with spreadsheets and CRMs, and the ability to juggle multiple threads without dropping any. The job also expects you to use AI as a multiplier for drafting communications and building trackers, catching where the tool falls short. Seasonality is built in; you'll plan months ahead and go all-in when volume peaks.

The compensation is $60k–$80k with performance upside tied to growth milestones, plus comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement matching. The role is remote and based in Miami, and you'd be joining a company that has already proven the model with $2B+ in negotiated loan volume and 290K+ members. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, proactive about flagging problems, and energized by systems thinking, this is a high-leverage entry point into a fast-growing fintech solving a real problem for graduate students.
