About this role

Supporting PlayStation repair operations across a vast territory, this role sits at the intersection of technical engineering and operational management. You'd be the primary technical liaison between Sony's central team and repair partners spanning Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia, troubleshooting hardware diagnostics, managing equipment rollouts, and driving process improvements across high-volume repair centres. The work combines hands-on problem-solving—interpreting circuit-board faults, configuring software, testing firmware releases—with coordination responsibilities like training repair staff on new models, tracking KPIs, and preparing technical documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in electronic engineering or manufacturing, with practical experience diagnosing hardware at component level and ideally some exposure to high-volume repair environments. You'll need solid grounding in both hardware and embedded systems troubleshooting, comfort with diagnostic tools, and the ability to learn new software platforms quickly. Beyond technical skills, the role demands someone who can work independently, prioritise competing demands, and communicate clearly across multiple repair centres and internal teams—potentially in different languages.

Based in central London, this is a full-time office role offering a competitive package including private medical insurance, 25 days holiday, and on-site facilities. It's suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems methodically and wants to have direct impact on how millions of PlayStation devices are serviced globally.
