About this role
Point72's Operations team is seeking someone to support trade processing and reconciliation across macro and derivatives products—a role that sits at the intersection of trading activity, risk management, and operational control. You'd confirm daily trades, reconcile positions with prime brokers and counterparties, and partner with portfolio managers and traders to resolve exceptions. The work spans bonds, repos, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, futures, and OTC derivatives, giving you broad exposure to multiple asset classes and market structures.
This position suits candidates with zero to two years of middle office experience at a financial institution, ideally with foundational knowledge of fixed income and derivatives. You'll need strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently. Beyond day-to-day trade support, you'll help onboard new portfolio manager teams, identify process improvements, and respond to ad hoc requests from internal teams and clients—meaning the role blends execution with problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Point72 offers fully-paid health care, parental leave, wellness programs, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) match. The position is based in Stamford, Connecticut and requires in-office work. The salary range is $90,000–$115,000, with potential for discretionary bonus.
