About this role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Service Desk Support Specialist to manage Tier 2 escalations for federal government clients across defense, national security, and civilian agencies. You'd own complex technical incidents involving platforms, databases, APIs, and system integrations—diagnosing root causes using SQL, Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch, then either resolving them or escalating strategically to Tier 3 engineering teams. The role demands strong troubleshooting depth and the ability to translate intricate technical problems into clear business language for both stakeholders and front-line support staff.
This position requires hands-on experience in enterprise Tier 2 support environments, proficiency with the monitoring and analysis tools listed above, and proven skill in root-cause analysis and documentation. You'll coordinate high-pressure incident triage, manage escalation workflows, create SOPs and knowledge articles, and serve as the critical bridge between support teams and engineering. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, and has experience with complex multi-system platforms or high-reliability environments.
You must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Public Trust clearance. The role is full-time and in-office in Washington, DC, with a salary range of $81,000–$154,700 depending on experience and other factors.
