About this role

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Service Desk Support Analyst to support federal government clients across defense, national security, and civilian agencies. This role goes well beyond typical help desk work—you'll diagnose and resolve complex system issues across multiple platform components, lead incident triage and root cause analysis, and serve as the escalation point for high-priority client concerns. You'll also generate system reports using SQL, Splunk, and CloudWatch; execute data validation and financial reconciliation; and support deployment verification and change management activities.

The position requires a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and hands-on experience in service desk, systems operations, or application support. You'll need strong proficiency in SQL, Splunk, CloudWatch, and advanced Excel, along with familiarity with ITIL frameworks and the ability to lead technical troubleshooting efforts. Beyond technical skills, you should be comfortable managing client escalations, coordinating across teams, and mentoring junior staff. Experience with eligibility processing systems, financial reconciliation, synthetic monitoring, or multi-system data interfaces is valued but not required.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Washington, D.C., with a salary range of $65,900 to $120,000. Accenture Federal Services emphasizes professional development through certifications and training, positioning this as a role suited for someone ready to take on complex technical leadership responsibilities within a federal services environment.
