About this role
Ascension's Quality Management Program Coordinator role centers on keeping hospital policies, procedures, and compliance documentation current and audit-ready. You'll analyze weekly quality reports to flag outdated or overdue materials, then coordinate cross-functional meetings with department heads and clinical staff to drive necessary updates through the approval process. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across a large health system—you'll handle meeting logistics, maintain precise documentation, track action items, and serve as the main point of contact shepherding documents through formal renewal cycles.
The role requires a high school diploma or one year of directly relevant experience; professional healthcare certifications can substitute for either. Experience managing policies and procedures is preferred, and familiarity with PolicyStat software or knowledge of Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) would be advantageous. This is an in-office, full-time position in Tulsa, Oklahoma, suited for someone detail-oriented, technologically comfortable, and able to communicate effectively across multiple hospital departments and leadership levels.
