About this role

ALKU's Charlotte office is looking for someone to anchor its daily operations from the front desk—managing everything from greeting candidates and coordinating interviews to keeping the office stocked, clean, and running like a well-oiled machine. You'd be the visible face of the company for everyone who walks through the door, working Monday through Thursday year-round in a fast-paced staffing and consulting environment. The role blends customer-facing hospitality with hands-on logistics: coordinating with the recruiting team on interview flow, overseeing mail and packages, managing office supplies and kitchen inventory across two locations, and handling the physical setup for events and weekly bagel orders.

This is a part-time position (28 hours per week) paying $20–$22 per hour, fully on-site with no remote flexibility. You'll need strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing focus, and genuine customer service instincts. The work is physical too—expect to lift packages up to 30 pounds, walk the office multiple times daily, and spend time at a desk. ALKU describes itself as a top-rated staffing firm that's been voted Best Place to Work for a decade, and they emphasize mentorship and training from day one. If you're someone who thrives on keeping spaces organized, enjoys direct interaction with people, and takes satisfaction in making operations invisible through your competence, this could be a solid fit.
