About this role
DelRicht Research, a clinical research organization operating across 33 sites nationwide, is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join their Charleston team. You'd be the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in clinical trials, responsible for ensuring they have a smooth experience while maintaining strict adherence to study protocols. The role involves scheduling and conducting patient visits, managing recruitment and enrollment activities, entering clinical data accurately into systems, and communicating clearly with patients, physicians, and internal teams. Success here means balancing patient care with operational precision in a fast-paced environment.
The position suits someone with at least one year of professional experience who thrives in dynamic settings and can quickly master new protocols and workflows. While prior clinical research experience isn't required, background in healthcare, patient care, or customer service translates well. You'll need strong communication and organizational skills, sound judgment under pressure, and genuine attention to detail—particularly around clinical documentation. Experience as a nurse, medical assistant, or medical scribe, or familiarity with clinical tasks like vital signs and ECGs, would be advantageous but not essential.
DelRicht offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions, disability and life insurance, PTO that accrues with tenure, a 401k with discretionary matching, and a quarterly bonus plan. The role is full-time, in-office Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary range of $50,000–$55,000.
