Description
- Serve as the technical expert and primary coordinator for surgical patient care and daily shift activities.
- Oversee staff scheduling, resource allocation, and daily task assignments to ensure peak efficiency.
- Lead the orientation and training of new associates, providing critical input for performance reviews and career growth.
- Monitor and report on adherence to healthcare policies, safety procedures, and clinical excellence standards.
- Manage the procurement and maintenance of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
hire.
Additional Preferences:
- 1 year of leadership experience
- 2 years of OR experience
