As Coordinator Distribution Technology you are a motivated and detail-oriented support to our member hotels in enhancing their online presence through effective use of distribution systems. You are part of a team that ensures optimal connectivity and content consistency across various channels to help hotels maintain their distribution systems.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist member hotels in maintaining and optimizing SynXis and MARSHA CRS
- Conduct system training for new and existing member hotels on CRS, interfaces, and booking engines
- Monitor and manage connectivity and performance across distribution channels linked to CRS
- Collaborate with hotels on loading rates across various distribution systems
- Support hotels in implementing rate strategies aligned with business goals
- Ensure accurate inventory, rates, and availability across all connected channels
- Conduct audits and system health checks to maintain distribution system integrity
Experience & Mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with SynXis or MARSHA CRS and online travel agency platforms is a plus
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot system issues
- Effective communication skills in English, with Chinese and Japanese being of particular interest, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability to evolving technology

About this role
Design Hotels™ is seeking a Distribution Technology Coordinator to support its member hotels in optimizing their online distribution and booking systems. You'll work primarily with SynXis and MARSHA CRS platforms, helping luxury boutique hotels across more than 60 countries maintain consistent rates, inventory, and availability across multiple channels. Your day-to-day work involves system training, troubleshooting connectivity issues, conducting health audits, and collaborating with hotels on rate strategy implementation—essentially acting as the technical bridge between the hotels and their distribution infrastructure.
The role suits someone with a technical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, ideally backed by a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or IT. Experience with CRS systems or online travel agency platforms is valuable but not essential if you have the aptitude to learn quickly. You'll need fluent English and the ability to communicate clearly across an international team; Chinese or Japanese language skills are a particular plus given Design Hotels' global reach. This is a full-time hybrid position based at Design Hotels' Berlin headquarters, with flexible working hours between 7 AM and 9 PM, Monday to Friday, arranged around your preferences.
