About this role

Capco is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the strategic transformation of Financial Crime Compliance and Market Conduct capabilities within a financial services client's Legal & Compliance function. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, business, technology, and data—you'll shape target operating models, assess current capabilities, and translate control objectives into prioritised multi-year roadmaps that senior management can act on. The work involves facilitating complex cross-functional decisions across Compliance, Technology, Architecture, and Programme Management, then distilling those discussions into clear recommendations and structured implementation plans.

You'll need demonstrated expertise in Financial Crime Compliance—particularly in AML/CTF, sanctions, or PEP screening—combined with consulting or project experience designing and transforming FCC solutions in financial services. Beyond technical compliance knowledge, you must excel at stakeholder management, translating strategic intent into architectural and data implications, and building decision materials for senior leaders. Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities are essential, as is the ability to assess investment requirements and sequence initiatives across complex transformation environments. Fluency in both English and German is required.

Experience in Market Conduct or Trade Surveillance, familiarity with false-positive reduction and alert management challenges, and exposure to enterprise-wide transformation programmes would strengthen your candidacy. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Zurich or Friesland.
