AS400 production support

• Monitor WMS production environment and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve AS400 application issues affecting warehouse operations.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with functional teams to prioritize and schedule fixes.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Develop and execute test cases for bug fixes and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of production support experience with AS400 (IBM i) platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in RPG, CL, or COBOL programming on AS400.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with SQL/DB2 on IBM i.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet SLA targets.
• Knowledge of logistics or supply‑chain processes is a plus.
