About this role

Rockit Motors is seeking a Program Manager to oversee electric motor manufacturing programs from conception through production, with accountability for hitting aggressive targets: 95%+ on-time delivery, budget performance, and customer satisfaction ratings. You'll lead cross-functional teams through product development cycles, manage program-level finances and resources, and own the full lifecycle of New Product Introduction initiatives. This role demands someone who can break down complex manufacturing programs into executable plans, navigate competing priorities across engineering, supply chain, and production, and surface risks before they become problems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electric motors, electromechanical products, or similar manufacturing environments, paired with proven ability to lead and influence teams without direct authority. You'll need strong project management fundamentals—comfort with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches—combined with financial acumen to track costs and allocate resources efficiently. Equally important is the soft skill set: clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, genuine customer focus, and the resilience to solve unforeseen technical, supplier, or resource challenges as they arise.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Dallas, paying $135,000–$145,000 annually. Success here means taking ownership of outcomes, using data to drive decisions, and consistently delivering programs that satisfy customers, meet budgets, and ship on schedule.
