About this role
Arlo Solutions is hiring an Administrative Support Specialist to work on-site at HHS in Washington, DC, supporting two offices—Acquisitions and Financial Resources—that handle federal procurement and budget matters. This is a contract hybrid role that sits at the operational center of executive work: you'll manage correspondence and document preparation, coordinate meetings and events, maintain SharePoint sites, process travel authorizations, and track requisition packages. The position requires handling confidential material and working across Government and contractor leadership levels, so reliability and discretion are essential.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of administrative experience (or eight years with a high school diploma) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint. Federal agency experience—particularly in acquisitions or financial management—is valued, as is familiarity with Concur travel systems and Section 508 compliance standards. You'll be taking meeting notes regularly, preparing briefing materials, coordinating events ranging from small meetings to department-wide conferences, and serving as the liaison ensuring information reaches the right people across a complex organizational structure.
This role suits someone who thrives on variety and precision: you'll move between detailed document editing, event logistics, travel management, and stakeholder communication in the same week. It's not a back-office position—you're embedded in executive operations and expected to anticipate needs and manage competing deadlines independently.
