About this role
This warehouse coordinator role at fairlife's Webster facility supports the receiving, shipping, and inventory operations for a major dairy nutrition company. You'll work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every-other-weekend rotations, starting with 8-hour shifts that gradually increase to the full 12-hour schedule. The position includes a $2 per hour shift differential for night work.
Your core responsibilities center on maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating material flow through a 112,000 square foot racked storage and 90,000 square foot automated system, and ensuring food safety compliance throughout receiving and shipping operations. You'll use yard management software to track trailers and drivers, verify supplier receipts, prepare outbound shipping documentation, and communicate with planning and logistics teams to resolve carrier or load issues. The role demands strong attention to detail, computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS systems, with D365 and SAP experience preferred), and the ability to work independently while supporting your shift supervisor's daily goals.
The job requires you to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to temperatures ranging from 34 to over 100 degrees, loud noise, and equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. You'll spend extended periods standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds or rewrapping pallets by hand. Three to five years of warehouse or manufacturing experience is desired. This role suits someone with solid warehouse fundamentals who's comfortable with night shift work, rotating weekends, and the physical demands of a food production facility.
