About this role

Supporting federal mission operations at Revolutional means owning the technical infrastructure that keeps classified systems running reliably and securely. As a Tier II Technical Support Analyst, you'll handle the full lifecycle of enterprise IT systems—from installation and configuration through ongoing maintenance, security hardening, and end-user support. The work spans help desk coverage, deskside troubleshooting, and hands-on infrastructure projects in a high-security environment where downtime directly impacts mission effectiveness. You'll need to move fluidly between shift work (6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm ET), structured security protocols, and the problem-solving agility required when issues arise in mission-critical systems.

This role demands someone with at least three years of IT support or systems administration experience, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and Security+ certification. You should be comfortable troubleshooting across operating systems, applications, networking, and hardware; familiar with backup and disaster recovery; and grounded in security practices like patching and vulnerability management. Experience with virtualization, Windows or Linux administration, and classified environments is valuable. Beyond technical depth, the position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay effective under pressure in a fast-paced federal setting.

The role is fully onsite in Washington, D.C., with occasional travel under 10%, and carries physical demands including equipment moves, installations requiring up to 30 pounds of lifting, and walking between secure facilities. Compensation ranges from 75–95K depending on experience.
