About this role

We Care Daily Clinics is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist focused on early engagement—a role designed for someone with lived experience in behavioral health recovery who can meet newly enrolled members during their critical first 30 days and help them connect with initial appointments, groups, and other program activities. The position emphasizes person-centered, trauma-informed support grounded in mutuality and empowerment, drawing directly on your own recovery journey to guide others toward wellness.

The day-to-day work involves building trust-based relationships, facilitating recovery-oriented conversations, coordinating linkages to services, and providing door-to-door transportation support as needed. You'll work with a revolving caseload rather than a traditional full caseload, collaborate across clinical teams, and advocate for members while maintaining clear peer role boundaries. All work is guided by Washington State Department of Health standards and the Code of Ethics for Certified Peer Counselors.

You'll need your WA State Certified Peer Support Specialist credential (or pending certification at hire), at least one year of experience as a certified peer specialist, a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and strong communication and organizational skills. Prior experience in clinic, outreach, housing, or group settings is preferred, as is WA Peer Crisis training. This is a full-time, in-office position in North Seattle paying $31.00 per hour.
