About this role

Eucalyptus is seeking a Medical Technologist to support patients enrolled in Juniper, a weight-management program combining medication with personalized clinical care. Based in Manila and working in-office on a rotating shift schedule (including nights and weekends), you'll be the frontline contact for patients, triaging medical concerns via email, assessing side effects, and escalating issues to doctors, nurses, and pharmacists as needed. The role demands strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment where interruptions and schedule changes are frequent.

Beyond reactive patient support, you'll proactively monitor patient progress using tracking data, coordinate with GPs and pharmacies, conduct periodic treatment reviews, and gather patient feedback to share with the clinical team. This is not a clinical role—you won't be diagnosing or prescribing—but rather a bridge between patients and the multidisciplinary care team, ensuring patients receive timely information and support to stay on track with their treatment plans.

The position requires at least two years of post-registration experience as a Medical Technologist in healthcare. Prior experience triaging in a clinic or emergency setting, or working in telehealth, would be an advantage. Eucalyptus offers competitive benefits including health insurance with dependent coverage, statutory contributions, a transportation allowance, professional development funding, and flexible leave policies from day one. The role suits someone who is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable with shift work and operational demands.
