About this role

Olsson's Industrial team is seeking an Electrical Drafter to support design work on large-scale industrial facilities including agricultural plants, renewable energy installations, water treatment systems, and semiconductor manufacturing. You'll use Revit and CAD to develop electrical plans, coordinate with clients, and provide technical support to a collaborative team. The role includes occasional site visits for field observations, requiring flexibility and the ability to deliver solutions quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This position calls for an associate degree in drafting or equivalent experience, plus three years working with CAD and Revit. Beyond technical skills, you'll need strong communication abilities, a self-starter mentality, and genuine interest in electrical systems design and applicable codes. Experience designing industrial facilities and their electrical infrastructure is expected; familiarity with relevant standards is a plus. The work demands attention to detail and comfort working closely with others toward shared goals.

Olsson offers competitive benefits including a 401(k) match, traditional health coverage, paid time off, and a performance bonus system. The company emphasizes flexible work arrangements—in-office, hybrid, or remote—and invests in employee development. Based in Dallas and working full-time, you'd be part of a firm that has prioritized engineering solutions and community impact since 1956.
