About this role
GRVTY is hiring a Computer Network Defense Analyst 2 to support Intelligence Community missions from their Hawaii office. You'll work on a contract basis conducting network defense operations, developing targets for government decision-makers, analyzing intelligence, and advising on cybersecurity posture. The role involves hands-on technical work—vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, forensics, and systems engineering—alongside documentation, compliance oversight, and close collaboration with government personnel and partner organizations.
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a STEM degree in a relevant field (Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline). You'll need demonstrated experience in cyber or network security, systems design, programming, or forensics, plus hands-on network and system administration. The clearance and experience requirements are strict: a bachelor's degree calls for five years of relevant experience; a master's degree reduces that to three years. Prior military cyber training can substitute for part of the degree requirement, and foreign language proficiency may count toward experience.
The salary range is $114,000–$145,000, with benefits including health coverage, HSA contributions, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and professional development opportunities. This is an in-office role in Hawaii suited to someone with solid cyber fundamentals, clearance eligibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
