About this role
Holder Construction is looking for someone to be the community face of an active construction project in Ohio, bridging the gap between jobsite operations and local stakeholders. You'd handle community outreach, plan and execute project events like groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings, coordinate site tours and meetings, and maintain relationships with neighbors, schools, civic groups, and local officials. The role also involves event logistics, basic communications support, and documentation—essentially keeping the project connected to and in good standing with the community throughout construction.
This is a hands-on, in-office position that requires strong organizational skills, comfort working independently on an active jobsite, and genuine people skills. You'll work closely with project leadership, clients, and trade partners, so the ability to juggle multiple tasks and represent the company professionally is essential. The ideal candidate has two to five years in community relations, event coordination, operations support, or communications; construction or large infrastructure project experience is a bonus, as is familiarity with the Monrovia/Morgan County area.
Holder Construction offers a structured career development program and competitive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and an annual bonus program. This is an internship-level position, making it a solid entry or early-career opportunity to build experience in project-based community engagement within a nationally recognized construction firm.
