What You’ll Do
Own the design, architecture, and implementation of JobMinglr’s hybrid network strategy (cloud-first with secure integration points)
Lead all networking efforts across AWS, application infrastructure, and third-party integrations (e.g. Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters)
Optimize traffic flows for performance, security, and cost (CloudFront, VPC, WAF, peering)
Drive compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR) with network-level security best practices (IAM, VPNs, firewalls)
Mentor and guide engineering team members in network observability and reliability
Respond to and mitigate network-related incidents across all environments
What You’ll Need
8+ years of experience in network engineering, including 3+ in cloud-native (AWS preferred) environments
Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust architecture
Hands-on with AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, NACLs, WAF, and Route 53
Experience leading network initiatives in high-growth startups or SaaS platforms
Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Terraform, or similar)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, founder-led startup
Bonus Points
Prior experience in a job board, HR tech, or multi-tenant SaaS platform
Familiarity with ATS integrations and API traffic management
Previous experience in a regulated or compliance-heavy industry
