Job Title: Lead Specialist, Education Specialist
Division: Assessment & Qualifications
Location: Manchester or Rotherham – Hybrid
This role aligns with positions commonly known in the external market as Marking Quality Technical Specialist, Assessment Quality Analyst, Marking Quality Analyst or Assessment Data Analyst.
Job Summary:
Develop and deliver high-impact analysis and interpretation to drive the quality and integrity of the statutory KS2 national curriculum test marking programme. This role provides actionable insights and collaborates closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to inform continuous improvement for future series.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner in the provision of insight into marking quality.
- Develop and deliver real-time data insights to marking programme leads, highlighting quality trends and risks as marking progresses.
- Develop and deliver post-series analysis and interpretation of marking quality, producing clear, actionable reports for internal and external partners to drive improvements for future series.

Qualifications (Education & Experience):
- Relevant experience in educational measurement, data analysis, or assessment quality assurance.

- Experience supporting large-scale marking or assessment programmes and engaging with external stakeholders is highly desirable.
