About this role

Interpath Advisory, part of the larger Interpath Laboratory network across the Pacific Northwest and Midwest, is seeking a reliable courier to handle medical specimen transportation in the Pendleton area. You'd be responsible for coordinating timely pickups and deliveries of specimens and supplies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, and ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols. The role also involves documentation, inter-departmental communication, and occasional training support for other couriers.

This is a physically demanding position requiring comfort with frequent lifting (up to 30 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 60 lbs), extended periods driving—up to four hours at a stretch—and regular handling of potentially infectious biological materials. You'll need a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to navigate all road types and weather conditions, including rural and freeway routes in darkness and poor visibility. Previous courier or driving experience is strongly preferred.

The full-time Monday–Friday schedule offers medical, dental, and vision coverage with in-network discounts, a 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and free in-house laboratory testing. The position pays $14.50–$18.66 per hour depending on experience. Specific hours will be discussed during your interview.
