About this role

iCapital's Legal team is seeking someone to provide paralegal and administrative support across a range of legal operations—from document management and file organization to coordinating meetings, processing expenses, and arranging travel. You'll be a central point of contact working with internal teams, external law firms, vendors, clients, and investors, which means strong communication and the ability to manage relationships at all levels will be essential. The role includes formatting communications, moving deliverables forward, and taking on ad hoc projects within the legal and compliance function, with an expectation of flexibility and initiative to improve processes.

You should have an undergraduate degree and prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with Coupa, Luminance, or similar AI tools is a bonus. Beyond technical skills, this role demands excellent written and verbal communication, comfort managing schedules and logistics in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently while handling sensitive information with discretion. You'll need strong attention to detail, initiative, and a willingness to support executives beyond typical scope when needed.

The position is full-time in New York City, in-office Monday through Thursday with Friday remote flexibility. The salary range is $70,000 to $90,000, with equity, annual performance bonuses, an employer-matched retirement plan, comprehensive healthcare coverage, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
