About this role
Gruve, an AI-focused software services startup, is seeking an L2 System Administrator to manage Windows Server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. You'd handle incident resolution, routine administration, patching, monitoring, and security remediation while working in a follow-the-sun model supporting APAC, EMEA, and NLAM regions around the clock. The role requires close coordination with L1 operations teams, L3 senior staff, and cross-functional groups to maintain infrastructure availability and meet service level agreements.
This position demands 3–6 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience, with strong expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration, VMware ESXi and vCenter operations, and Azure or AWS cloud platforms. You'll need solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows security; experience with OS and hypervisor patching; and demonstrated capability in ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or equivalent are essential, and experience with SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, or Autopilot is expected.
