About this role
GSA Capital is hosting a two-hour workshop exclusively for Imperial's Algorithmic Trading Society, offering a hands-on introduction to quantitative trading strategy development. You'll work through an open-ended modelling problem designed to be genuinely challenging, with guidance from GSA instructors who have real experience building trading strategies in industry. The session includes a candid mini-lecture on what quantitative trading actually entails, giving you insight into the field beyond theory.
This workshop suits you if you think naturally in terms of statistics and probability, enjoy using data and logic to test hypotheses about market behaviour, and want to see how these skills translate into practice. The best-performing strategy will be recognised with a prize. Only 30 places are available and allocated based on suitability, so selection is competitive.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday, 24 November from 18:00 to 20:30 at Imperial College London. You must be a member of the Algorithmic Trading Society to apply, with the deadline on Friday, 20 November.
