TECHNICIAN 2, MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT

A Diffusion Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting diffusion furnace equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role ensures products are processed according to specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance.

• Operate diffusion furnaces and associated support equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform wafer loading and unloading activities while ensuring product integrity and contamination control.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, gas flow, pressure, and recipe conditions to ensure stable operation.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance (PM), and basic troubleshooting activities.
• Respond to alarms, process deviations, and equipment abnormalities, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support equipment qualification, process monitoring, and engineering evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and process documentation.
• Assist engineers in root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support yield, cycle-time, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Perform housekeeping activities to maintain cleanroom and equipment cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve operational objectives.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Semiconductor Technology, or a related technical field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant manufacturing or semiconductor experience is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom practices.
• Willingness to work in a 12-hour rotating shift environment, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
