Description
About FIRY
We build companies that help people create, compete, and grow.
FIRY (NYSE: FIRY) is a founder-led global holding company built to fuel business potential. Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Andrew Paradise, FIRY began by inventing an entirely new category: real-money skill-based mobile gaming. What started as a single bold idea became Skillz, a platform with more than 90 million lifetime users and one of the largest sources of first-party behavioral data in gaming. FIRY’s proprietary technology is protected by 90+ issued patents. More than a decade later, Andrew still leads FIRY as Founder & CEO, pairing an inventor’s ethos with investment success. That combination defines FIRY’s culture from the top down.
Today, FIRY is building something much bigger.
We’re creating a portfolio of category-defining businesses operating at the intersection of AI, identity, gaming, commerce, and performance marketing. Each business is successful on its own. Together, they create a flywheel of technology, data, and distribution that’s difficult to replicate. The systems FIRY builds help game developers build businesses, help advertisers acquire the right users, and turn competitive play into a scalable commercial engine.
- Skillz: The competition platform that pioneered real-money skill-based gaming and continues to power millions of competitive experiences while generating unique behavioral insights.
- RZR: Our AI-native performance advertising platform, rebuilt from first principles, profitable for four consecutive quarters with revenue up 75% year over year in Q2 2026, helping brands acquire customers more intelligently.
- Beamable: The infrastructure powering the next generation of live games, giving developers everything they need to build, operate, and scale online experiences.
FIRY is publicly traded on the NYSE and headquartered in Las Vegas, with a global network of hubs across its portfolio companies. Q2 2026 revenue grew 23% year over year. The portfolio is entering its compounding phase.
We’re still early.
We’re looking for builders who want to create products that define industries, not simply compete in them. Corporate roles at FIRY sit at the center of all three businesses, supporting the infrastructure, strategy, and execution that compound as they grow together.
About the Role

- Support portfolio strategy and M&A: Partner with the Founder & CEO and CFO to evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities, assess strategic fit, and develop plans for creating value through ownership or sale.
- Lead transaction execution and integration: Coordinate operational due diligence, assess leadership and organizational needs, and validate operating assumptions. Lead acquisition integration and divestiture separation planning, ensuring business continuity and delivery of expected benefits.
- Lead FIRY operations: Oversee procurement, vendor management and IT.. Partner with Finance, People, and Legal to provide effective corporate support, maintain spending discipline, and establish clear approval processes.

About this role
FIRY's COO role places you at the operational center of a diversified portfolio—Skillz, RZR, and Beamable—reporting directly to founder and CEO Andrew Paradise. You'll own accountability for financial and operational performance across all three businesses, with their CEOs and general managers reporting to you. This means setting goals, holding leaders accountable, making key talent decisions, and driving corrective action when businesses miss targets. You'll also lead the holding company's operations, including procurement, vendor management, and IT, while partnering with Finance, People, and Legal to maintain spending discipline and support execution across the group.
The role demands someone who can translate group strategy into executable business plans and install operating discipline at scale. You'll design and run the operating cadence—business reviews, quarterly planning, board updates—using clear scorecards to track progress and challenge assumptions. Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll support M&A strategy by evaluating acquisition and divestiture opportunities, leading transaction due diligence, and managing integration or separation planning to ensure continuity and value creation. Success in the first year means having operating systems running smoothly across all three businesses, completing at least one integration or separation, benchmarking and reducing corporate costs, and delivering a portfolio review with buy, hold, or sell recommendations for each business.
This is a Las Vegas-based, in-office role at a NYSE-listed company with a $420,000 salary. It suits an experienced operator comfortable managing multiple business leaders, driving organizational change, and working closely with a founder-led culture that values builders and category creation over incremental competition.
