About this role
EOS IT Solutions is seeking an AV & Events Technician to support a major client's internal and external events across their Tokyo premises on a hybrid basis. You'll be the technical backbone for high-profile corporate gatherings, managing everything from video wall content and live streaming through their LIVE GO platform to audio mixing, camera operations, and video conferencing setup. The role demands someone equally comfortable troubleshooting sophisticated AV systems during a live event and handling the day-to-day maintenance of equipment across their facilities.
Success in this position requires fluent English and conversational Japanese to coordinate with local stakeholders and vendors. You'll need hands-on experience as a live event technician—ideally with Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E switchers for vision mixing or digital audio consoles with Dante networking for audio-focused work. Beyond technical proficiency, the job calls for strong problem-solving skills, proactive incident management, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while collaborating across the APAC AV team.
This is a full-time role suited to someone with proven experience in corporate event production who can manage video conferencing platforms, handle pre-event equipment checks and post-event recording edits, and communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders about AV requirements and solutions.
