About the Role:

As a Business Operations Associate within the CashNetUSA business unit, you will play a vital role in supporting one of Enova's core businesses. Your responsibilities will be monitoring and supervision across our diverse product portfolio, planning and executing customer remediations, and addressing unique regulatory and business requirements in various states. • Take full ownership of the issue management lifecycle; ensure that gaps are not just flagged, but pursued until a permanent fix is implemented and tested
  • Demonstrate a results-driven mentality by independently coming up with opportunities, validating hypotheses with stakeholders, and driving cross-functional solutions into reality
  • Proactively identify production or compliance exceptions, assess their impact on the business and customers, and resolve them or escalate to the management team as necessary.
  • Gain expertise in product offerings, brand, state compliance matrix, transactional logic, and funding/payment processes, and document this knowledge.
  • Utilize your subject matter expertise to create and manage processes and monitoring systems that ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines for products, technology, and processes.
  • Analyze customer complaint data to identify trends, develop recommendations, and support the implementation of process improvements based on these insights.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests related to external and third-party business audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience executing initiatives from start to finish, including managing cross-functional stakeholders and authoring detailed business documentation
  • 3+ years resolving audit findings and operational issues by integrating federal and state regulations into corrective action plans, updated policies, and system improvements
  • Familiarity with SQL and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in both team and independent settings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microstrategy, Grafana, and other monitoring dashboards is a plus

About this role

Enova's CashNet USA business unit is seeking someone to manage the operational backbone of a core lending product—a role that sits at the intersection of compliance, customer service, and cross-functional problem-solving. You'd own the full lifecycle of customer remediation efforts when system issues arise, from root cause analysis through permanent fixes and testing. This means diving into production exceptions, audit findings, and regulatory gaps; collaborating with teams across the organization to develop solutions; and building the monitoring systems and processes that keep the business compliant and customers protected.

The ideal candidate brings five-plus years executing projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders, plus three-plus years resolving audit findings by translating federal and state regulations into concrete corrective actions. You'll need SQL and Excel proficiency, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with monitoring dashboards like Grafana or MicroStrategy is valuable. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field is required, and you must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

The role is hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in Chicago, flexible Monday and Friday), with a salary range of $75,000–$100,000 plus potential bonus. Enova offers standard benefits including health coverage, 401(k) matching, PTO, paid parental leave, and employee resource groups.
